2022 BGC Video

This video was created to raise funds for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Southwest Michigan. Each year, the BGC follows the journeys of 3 kids and their mentors within the programs.

I was involved with every step of this project, from start to finish. I concepted the storytelling themes, wrote and conducted interviews and pre-interviews, roughed the story architecture from completed interviews, wrote video supers and worked directly with the video editor to hone the stories.

We chose a parallel narrative structure, which allowed us to present the three stories while still giving the video a beginning, middle, and satisfying ending for all three kids.
